The French and Aragonese Ways. Both these routes of the Camino de Santiago (Way of Saint James) depart Roncesvalles or Somport, descending the Pyrenees and progressing through mountains, fertile valleys, green hills, vineyards, plains, cathedrals and historic towns to arrive finally in Santiago de Compostela. The French Way is the most popular and visited route, where personal legends and stories are made daily. Along its length the Camino doesn't present major difficulties with exception of certain mountain passes.
